Rizz IQ, operated by Rudd Media LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
Information We Collect
When you use Rizz IQ, we may collect the following types of information:
- Profile Information — Your display name, age range, and preferences you provide during onboarding.
- Conversation Data — Messages you exchange with AI characters during practice sessions, chat snippets you paste into the app for reply suggestions, and any context you provide about a conversation. This content is transmitted to a third-party AI processing service (described below) to generate responses, scores, and feedback.
- Voice Input — If you use voice features, audio you record is transmitted to the same third-party AI processing service for transcription and response generation. Audio is processed in real-time and is not retained by us.
- Usage Data — App interaction data such as session duration, features used, screens viewed, and performance metrics. This helps us improve the app experience.
- Device Information — Device type, operating system version, and app version for compatibility and troubleshooting purposes.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and improve the Rizz IQ experience
- Generate personalized AI feedback, suggestions, and Rizz IQ scores by sending relevant content to our AI processing service (with your consent)
- Track your progress, XP, streaks, and achievements
- Process subscription purchases and manage your account
- Analyze usage patterns to improve app features
- Ensure content safety and enforce community guidelines
AI Processing & Data Disclosure
RizzIQ is an AI-powered communication coaching app. To provide its core features, the app sends user-generated content to third-party AI services. We comply with Apple's App Store guidelines 5.1.1(i) and 5.1.2(i) regarding disclosure, consent, and data use.
- What data is sent: The text of your conversation messages, any chat snippets you paste into the app for reply suggestions, the context you provide about a conversation (such as who you are speaking to, your goal, or the situation), your selected character or scenario in Practice Mode, voice audio (only if you use voice features), and minimal session metadata required for the AI request.
- What is NOT sent: Your name, email address, phone number, payment information, device identifiers, contacts, photos, location data, or any data outside the AI conversation feature itself.
- Who receives the data: The data flows through (1) Rork Toolkit, an AI proxy service operated by Rork (https://rork.com), (2) Vercel AI Gateway, infrastructure operated by Vercel, Inc. (https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy), to (3) underlying large language model providers such as OpenAI (https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy/) which generate the AI response. Each of these providers has published privacy and data-use commitments equivalent to or stronger than those described in this policy, and per their stated API policies they do not retain or train models on data sent through their API beyond what is required for short-term abuse monitoring.
- How we obtain your permission: Before any AI feature is used for the first time, RizzIQ presents an in-app consent screen explaining this data flow and requires your explicit agreement. You may decline, in which case AI features will be unavailable. You may also revoke consent at any time within the app's Settings, which will disable AI features and prevent further data transmission to these services.
- Data retention by us: We do not store the content of your AI conversations on our servers. Conversation history is stored locally on your device only, and deleting the app removes that local data.
Third-Party Services
RizzIQ integrates with the following third-party services. By using AI features in RizzIQ and providing in-app consent, you authorize the processing of your data by these services as described above.
- Rork Toolkit (Rork) — AI proxy service that routes AI requests over HTTPS to language model providers. Endpoint: https://toolkit.rork.com. See https://rork.com for more information.
- Vercel AI Gateway (Vercel, Inc.) — Infrastructure layer that forwards AI requests to underlying model providers. See https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- Large Language Model Providers (e.g., OpenAI) — Generate AI responses based on the content sent. See https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy/.
- RevenueCat — Manages subscription purchases and entitlements. RevenueCat processes purchase data through Apple's StoreKit framework. See https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy/.
- Apple StoreKit — Handles in-app purchase transactions. All payment processing is managed by Apple. We do not collect or store payment details.
Data Storage
Your data is primarily stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage. This includes:
- Your profile and preferences
- Conversation history
- Progress, scores, and achievements
- App settings and AI consent state
We do not maintain centralized servers that store your personal conversation data. When you delete the app, locally stored data is removed from your device. Content sent to third-party AI services for processing is handled per those services' published policies and is not retained by us.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We only share data as described in the AI Processing & Data Disclosure and Third-Party Services sections above, which is necessary to provide core app functionality and only after you provide in-app consent.
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — View all data associated with your profile within the app's Settings screen.
- Delete — Reset all your progress and data using the "Reset All Progress" option in Settings. You can also delete all data by uninstalling the app.
- Withdraw AI Consent — Revoke your consent to AI processing at any time in the app's Settings. AI features will be disabled and no further data will be sent to third-party AI services.
- Opt Out — Disable push notifications and optional data collection through the app's Settings.
- Data Portability — Contact us to request an export of your data.
Children's Privacy
RizzIQ is not intended for children or minors. You must be at least 18 years of age to use this app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy within the app. Your continued use of Rizz IQ after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
